Hello all,

What a great turn out for our Memorial Run of the late Mr Garey Thompson ( President of CACVC ). With a Special thanks to his Son, Andrew and Daughter, Janice who accompanied us and planned the entire day.

As with Garey's wish, we completed the run from Farmley Car Park in Glengormley all the way along the coast through Carrickfergus, Larne , Carnlough, Ballycastle right up to Portrush. And we all had a wonderful day with some fantastic weather and beautiful scenery.

We would like to thank Mr Paul Adair for bringing his 1958 Wolsely 1500, and Mr Alfie Mark for bringing his 1934 Morris 10/4 to join in the run with us.

Andrew, Noel and Janice had surprized us all with a Sheild and Cup for the day's Run.

Our run up the Coast..

Our coffee stop at Glenarm. ( But no coffee could be found LOL )

So we headed on to Carnlough. ( We found coffee here, Yeah )

We then stopped of at HUNTER'S BAR in Ballyvoy for a light lunch.

MR Terry Hunter ( owner ), AT HUNTERS with a Hunter...

Andrew and Janice after lunch decided to award the Shield and Cup to the Best turned out vehicle on the day.

The winner was David McCalmont and his Porshe 924 Carrerra, who received the CUP.

And Alan Boyce / Duncan Mawhinney for their Mini Clubman 1275 GT, who received the Sheild.

We then continued along the coastal route to Portrush and the End of the run.
